2010 Transfer Thread

Thought i might aswell put it here because more people go on this section of the forum then the other bit.
Brian Dutton is the first departure for Town in 2010 say the Wesbite:

Brian Dutton has left Harrogate Town and joined Northwich Victoria in a move completed on New Years Day morning.

Brian joined Harrogate Town in the summer. He made 22 appearances and scored 4 goals.

We wish him well at his new club.

I always thought he was a decent player, but we do have other players who can play in his position. So, it just gives another first team member a chance to stake a claim for a place in the first 11.

I really need my football fix! I am seriously getting withdrawal symptoms!!!

He was a good player, as indicated by the team he has joined. He suffered by being played out of position at Town, as a makeshift striker. No need for that now (hopefully!), and with Foster added to the squad, midfield looks sorted as well. Good luck to him.

Yeah, it does look pretty tidy, and the right mix is there now. Tuesday will be interesting for sure to see how they gel....
