    Big game Tuesday night!
AFC Fylde are a club that most teams can’t compete with in this league!
Our away record is good but we have only won 1 of our last 4 home league games!!!!!!!!!

Massively important that we win on Tuesday. We really have top 5 potential, but games like Tuesday are SO important. Slipped up last home game... not again.

I would say it's more important not to lose the game Paul but a win would be nice with two difficult away games to come.

If we can get Daniels overall play up to scratch then we would really be on song.He has been a bit disappointing lately apart from his goals which are drying up a little.Emmett looked really on fire on saturday when he came on causing big problems for Corby.

Frustrating as hell! These missed chances could come back to haunt us. Should have been at least 2 up at half time. We played well, but feels like 2 points dropped to me. Another great Daniels goal anyway!

Good game played some great football in the first half, defense blunders cost us again why was Yates not playing? although Thewlis played well, Knowles seems to be lacking confidence along with Crook their first goal was laughable in the extreme, poor attendance for a top game and we have still not beaten a team in the top six we need to be beating these teams to stand a chance of the playoffs but i think history will be repeating itself again hope i'm wrong

I heard that there was a problem or delay with some paperwork with Yates, something to do with his extension. And I say this loosely as I heard it from a fellow fanatic!

A balanced game and so, on reflection, a fair result: there were times when we were on top and times when they retained the ball well and left us open with their pace. Hope the injuries are not too serious, but nevertheless, perhaps Saturday's game should be the time when the squad is utilised to the maximum. Give some 'regular players' a bit of a break and let them recuperate and give others some game time to keep them match ready should they need to step into the fray when and if needed. We have a talented enough group of players to be able to mix it up a bit, without losing quality.

Another cracking game to watch thrown away by a foolish error. Crook needs to sort out his major errors of judgement which seem to occur about every other game. Questions need to be asked as to why Yates loan extention did not materialise in time but well played Thewliss. We probably now have injury doubts for Saturdays cup game but maybe time to give the other players a game in a competition which might get in the way of our main objective of getting promotion.

Can’t keep chucking points away like we have done recently!
You need to play good football & WIN if you want more fans down to the CNG!
    Home Record
    P 9 W 4 D 3 L 2 F 14 A 13 PTS 15 Clean sheets 2
    Away Record
    P 9 W 6 D 1 L 2 F 16 A   7 PTS 19 Clean sheets 4

You need to get booked on with the supporter’s club away travel to have a better chance of seeing a Town win!!!!

Best I've seen Town play for the 2 years I've been watching. Thewliss worked like a trojan (as did all) and mustn't make way for anyone on that form. Only one weak link in that match - which cost us 2 points !

I think you will be mistaken RR.
The team has visibly got better as the season has progressed and the new players get to know each others game.
Our last two home games have gleaned just one point but the performance has been the best I have seen here for a long time.
I believe we can achieve a top five finish and maybe even better.
It's going to be exciting for sure.

Crook has made a couple of errors in our last two home games which have cost us goals.

    I have two questions:-
How many games have we won (not lost or drawn) this season because of the saves he has made?
Can you blame the goalkeeper for the chances we have missed at the other end.

Keepers make mistakes, even at the highest level - Gomes a couple of weeks ago springs to mind.

"Weak link" - a bit harsh.

'One weak link in that match'. By that 'link' i mean the mix-up between Crook and the defence. Both were at fault (but especially Crook who seems to have been lacking in confidence the last 2 games).
I'd agree with you though. Crooks has gained us points by his performances earlier in the season and deserves to get MOM more often than he does.

Second match now the new P.A. system hasn’t been working!
Also a couple of cars parked inside the ground last night which I thought wasn’t allowed during a match!

I hear what you are saying TF and i agree the football has been some of the best we have played but the fact remains we are not turning the good play against the top team into victories, its alright beating teams at the bottom end of the table only to lose to the teams we need to beat around us, people will always come to watch a winning team but if we don't start winning our home matches the attendance will start to drop below the 400 mark, not all fans can go to away games for various reasons so we need to break this habit of throwing points away at home it happened last season you would like to think that lesson would have been learn't, i don't know what the half time talk was by the two managers but i can guess theirs was better than ours as they looked like us in the second half and we looked like them from the first half

Ged i think both the above need answering. When the P A system is working it is far too loud in the new stands. Looks like we have one speaker per supporter !

This is my 15th season watching Town and the football has never been more entertaining than this season. In fact previous seasons don't even come close! The support at the moment is the best in that time too in terms of noise anyway.
Are we the most entertaining team to watch in the country at the moment? Can't be many better.
Keep it up Town I'm sure we'll start getting the wins we deserve soon.

Agree with ccob, great entertainment this season, first 30 minutes last night was fantastic... just wish we could get the goals our play deserves. It really could have been 4-0 by half time yesterday. We may miss the play offs, hope not, but we will have great entertainment!
