The match against Ilkeston is ON

Cant believe it, another defeat!

Is everyone just refusing to talk about the Ilkeston game on this forum then? Any thoughts on the game, very unlucky I thought, deserved at least a draw and probably, they just seem to play the percentages game better than us.

Certainly did deserve a draw in my opinion. The first half was dissapointing although it is always a set piece that we have problems with - every time!

We work better with a 442 and this was evident in the second half, how we didn't get one back I don't know. We certainly need a little more creativity in that midfield but it was a better performance then we have seen at The CNG for a while.

The one player that baffles me at the moment is Adam Nowakowski, for a tall lad why did he duck under every header on Saturday, with his height he could easily win more then his fair share. I know he is young and will get better (he already is a decent player so the only way is up!)but it was a wee bit frustrating to say the least.

On a final note, I felt sorry for Danny Broadbent, I thought he did ok in the first half!

It may have been a better performance, and it may have been close, but it was still a defeat, and we are bottom of the BSN still, and the teams above us have played less games.

I realise Weaver is starting to get more out of the squad, but the league form needs to improve, because if we are still bottom come new year, then I dont think we'll stay up.
