Dootson and Leabon both sign for Town

Shame we couldn't keep hold of Jameson, looked a very good keeper and could have a bright future in league football. Onto our fourth keeper of the year now and its only November.

Also Big Trev has left. Was a shame but I think we can all see why, although he bagged a few goals, as well as helping us to a point against Droylsden which could be priceless in the long run think his attitude and fitness in the long run would are not what Weaver and we're looking for.

I thought Jameson was a cracking goalkeeper, but we should give Hernandez a run in the team now, Jameson will have improved Hernandez tenfold.

Happy with both these signings, but Weaver needs to let this team gel now. Instead of unsettling the squad, because of the amount of players he has bought in and released, the players are probably thinking 'am I next?'

He should work with what he has got now, and then see how we get on.

Very sad to lose Jameson he looked a class apart and will defo be playing in the football league in the future. The 2 signings he has brought in are very good though and well done weaver for getting them in. but now agen whos gunna be the big man upfront

Leabon scored 4 goals in 10 starts when out on loan recently to Bury Town. Should be known well by Bloomer and Ryan from their days at Boston Utd. Lets hope for an instant strike partnership.

Dootson deal falls through

If that is true, what a mess Weaver will be in now. Any idea as to why the deal fell through?

very true, Ste is more than capable and should do a great job for us.

He is a very capable keeper, but he needs a solid defence in front of him.

Agree completely about Steven, so why did Weaver rush to get another keeper, give Hernandez a chance for heaven's sake!

I am assuming that he got the other keeper at short notice, because the reserve keeper, isnt quite yet up to the level of the first team, and if we had started with Hernandez, and he had got injured, it would have been a cricket score last night.

I do believe Hernandez should have started though.
