Workmanlike performance tonight. John Maloney playing at right back ? but actually had a good game. Starting eleven with 7 first teamers. Goal from Benjamin from an inswinging corner where he nipped in front of the keeper.

McTiernan really does work hard and cover alot of ground. Benjamin didn't look fit, which is so frustrating as he should be causing all sorts of problems with his strength and physique.

City looked comfortable in possession without creating a great deal. All in all a badly needed confidence booster. Didn't see Weaver at all, so it looked like Wade took the team.

id have to agree with what you said not the most entertaining game but a good run-out fir the lads, Adam Nowakowski looked very good got stuck in and looks like he could do a good defenive mid job for the 1st team, the centre back alongside bloomer also looked very good won everything in the air and looked good on the ground also. Big trevor dosent seem to do that much he holds the ball up well but full credit to the guy for grabbing another goal

I get the feeling that with Benjamin, as he is getting on a bit, he hasnt got the pace anymore, but seems to be very good at holding the ball, and putting it in the back of the net....
