Just coming back on the supporters' coach from the above entertaining game. A good performance from Town and probably a fair result from a tough away match. It was worth coming for Nowakowski's 2nd minute piledriver alone. Mallory's incisive crossing caused Brackley problems, while Town struggled to contain the home no.10 (Diggin I think). Great vociferous support (and balloons!) from the Town contingent. Thanks to all who organised the trip.

    A good point there!
Even though it sounded like we had the better of the chances.
The Brackley Manager getting sent off (AGAIN) indicates the kind of pressure he’s under!!
Their wage bill will likely be @ the top end for this league!!!!!!!!

Worsfold created a great chance in the first half when he touched a ball he had no right to get to round the keeper, but then overcut his shot from a narrow angle. Then shortly before their equaliser, a brilliant cross by Mallory caused havoc, Heath had his shot cleared right into the path of Nowakowski who unfortunately blazed over. If that had gone in, it could have been game over, but to be fair to Brackley they stretched us in the second half. Nelthorpe had a good game in central midfield, and seems to be keeping Bolder out of the side at the moment.

Great game, and the appearance of Rowe had a immediate impact. Fantastic atmosphere, over the top stewards, loved it.

2 - 2 against Brackley away is a good result, but doesn't do our play off ambitions much good unfortunately. Saturday's results generally bad for us Boston, Alty, the Moors all winning. I might have been wrong about Barrow last week: they are still not out of it unfortunately, neither are Guiseley. Really think we need to win tomorrow night.
