Decent Pub on the A43 (after Silverstone) on the way home

Victory drinks will go down very well at The Green Man. It is right on the A43 and is a cracking pub that I used to use in my dark and seedy recruitment days to meet candidates/victims.

Think also a pub in the town near the ground called the Crown , a hotel as well . Think we will head there before the game ...

Massive game on Saturday !!

I get the feeling that if we do get a result down at Brackley, it will make the rest of the teams above us be even more wary of us, but its really important that we build on the previous form, and make a real challenge for the playoffs.

Why did we beat them 6-1? If I remember correctly they couldn't deal with chib or our wingers ,(am I thinking correct game?)

The 6-1 win against Brackley is a complete blur to me, I have very little recollection of it, I must have been too shocked to remember.

no clue at all.... i know lee cattermole had the same last year for second yellow abusive language... i assume this has to be the same

thought it would be a bridge to far but was hoping for a point at least should have given the team some lasagna before the game and we would have won at a canter

Well after reading match function i assume he had a few words to say about the penalty or "debatable" offside. Although he may of been a little aggressive some referees need to accept that if they make a mistake the players are entitled to voice their opinion. Especially in a close league where a point or two can make all the difference. Train hard all week to be robbed by a ref. As you can see i am particularly bias against referees sorry.

I apologise, obviously not aimed at every ref as some are very approachable just a stereotype of mine.

I didn't manage to get there today, sounds like we should have got more out of the game but I always thought 6 points out of the next 3 games before Brackley would be fantastic.......Lets all get on that coach and get behind the guys on Tuesday- Halifax wobbled today so it's all to play for.

You need to try & keep your opinions in check especially when the ref knows some of the opposition’s players by their first name!!!!!

Around 20 fans made the long trip down with a couple up from “darn sarf”!!!!!
But with a crowd of just 232 it looks like the locals are oblivious to their team’s success on the pitch!
Brackley will finish in a play-off position!
But have a lot of work to do to the ground before the 31st March.
Could mean a team finishing 6th could yet sneak their way into the play-offs!!!!!!

Made me laugh that. I imagine all the refs cry themselves to sleep before their encounter with Alan.

two things... firstly anyone going near the pitch this week... ment to have two game in 4 days on it next week

secondly how does the play off final work (not getting ahead of myself just been trying to find out for weeks ) where is the final played???

Not on long enough to judge to be honest!
Made a couple of good forward runs & took his goal well on the 2nd of them!
We don’t get enough goals from midfield & our forwards were isolated for a lot of the game yesterday!
Didn’t get in behind the Brackley defence from wide positions much yesterday although they were well organised at the back!
I think there is only us & Guiseley who have beaten them by more than 1 goal all season so it was always going to be a difficult game!

Anyone else agree with me, that this maybe because Robbie Youhill was not playing?

I'm not saying we're a 1 man team but he's usually pretty good at that sort of thing.
