    Ex Players Empty Ex Players

Post by riverside Fri Dec 20, 2013 7:31 pm

Two of Towns Ex Players have moved this week to other clubs in the Skrill North according to Pitchero Non League Website.

    AVENUE BRING IN NEW STRIKER
Bradford Park Avenue have announce that striker Paul Beesley has been signed from Skrill North rivals Harrogate Town.

    CLAYTON MAKES NORTH FERRIBY SWITCH
Midfielder Dan Clayton has left Gainsborough Trinity to join Skrill North promotion-chasing rivals North Ferriby United.

I hope they get a fair chance at both clubs as it seems like good moves for the pair of them. Clayton played 15 games for Gainsborough Trinity this year so he's been getting regular Skrill North football but Beesley has been playing for local neighbours Harrogate Railway so could be a big opportunity for him to make his mark. Neither player got a fair crack of the whip at Town, which is a pity as they are both Local Lads.

Best wishes to both lads - knew Paul pretty well from his move to Railway from Borobridge then the move to Town and sitting with him for the 3rd Round Draw and a possible tie with Manchester City, the team he supports - he lived the dream for sure, and is a great guy who always gives 100%.

Thats a very good move for Dan Clayton. Really rated him and was disappointed to see him leave, but I believe we have better players in his preferred position.

Yep, good luck to them both: Beesley always gave it 100% There was a time last season when it looked like he was really going to nail down the striker position, but it never quite worked out. Hope he gets a few for BPA. Clayton a good player too, wouldn't mind him still being in our squad. Danny Forrest doing well for Guiseley as well. And don't mention Jose Viega  Shocked
