Re: Colwyn Bay Away F.A. Cup
What an absolutely (expletive deleted) lousy draw...could hardly be worse: we are away (AGAIN, for God's sake), its a long, long way away (so most fans can't go), and its an easily loseable match.
I am completely pissed off (pardon my language), but this run of away draws is just getting ridiculous.

Any chance of a coach? I might try and go if there is.

We'll see what can be done. However our current record on filling them this season isn't good.paulstreet wrote:Any chance of a coach? I might try and go if there is.

It's a tie we should win, but we need a good fa cup run again this year. I'd like to see us get a bloody home tie for a change though!

Hi folks. For those of you coming down for the game the local forecast is for a dry afternoon with sunny spells, 18 degrees. Hope to see a few of you in the clubhouse before the game, best of luck. Genuinely sorry for your points deduction, from reading comments on your forum, the lady involved was very popular! Cheers.

Yes, after the last few days I'd almost forgotten we are actually a football club! Beginning to get nervous now. After all the doom and gloom of the last 3 weeks we really need this one.

Re: Colwyn Bay Away F.A. Cup
well we are out of the cup.
again we pushed and couldn't score dispite lots of chances and then conceded a late goal
apparently we played long ball again too.... and again long ball didn't work.
WE NEED A STRIKER.

Re: Colwyn Bay Away F.A. Cup
Just on the way back from the game_ devastated with the result but not with the performance! We played some good football today! We had 18 shots to their 2! We deserved to win and all their fans agreed! We do need a goalscoring striker but that's hard to find! In my opinion we should get Beesley away from railway and play him upfront with Hally! Anyway let's get some points on the league table now!

Re: Colwyn Bay Away F.A. Cup
Listened to the commentary and it did seem like we most of the game, but look at the paper this morning, Colwyn Bay 1 Harrogate Town 0 Thats what counts in the end. No cup run, no money, no excitement, no chance to galvanise the town of Harrogate (OK, I'm being a bit ironic here!), with our cup exploits, unless we start winning VERY soon, all we will have is a season of essentially 'meaningless' league games, stuck in mid table. Forget about the FA Trophy, we might as well not bother entering that one! Still, theres always the West Riding County Cup

And just to rub it in, we would have got Ossett or Warrington in the next round.

A Striker? We'd be lucky to attract Arthur Scargill at this rate.

Re: Colwyn Bay Away F.A. Cup
Nice one rangerider, only Simon would probably have played him out of position on the right wing
