Leaving the 'geezer' debate to one side, this was disappointng but not particularly surprising: all teams are gonna lose some matches (unless they are called Chester or Guiseley, of course!). Sounds as though we might have got a point. Altrincham winning doesn't help our play off chances (7 points behind them and 'only' 3 games in hand).
Tuesday's game pretty massive now if we are going to be serious play off contenders, defeat would put Halifax 4 points ahead and a game in hand, and reduce our games in hand deficit to Altrincham to just 2.
Heck of a tough game, but Halifax conceded 3 to Histon Saturday so not impossible.

I don't think they are in trouble, they have just eaten into their reserves a little....however next season may be a different story if their gates don't increase....makes you wonder how we, Guiseley and Brackley survive.
