Good idea to use some league grounds to help relieve the pressure of the home match backlog - will be tremendous to watch Town play there (5th Feb v Workington)
Would be awesome if the club could put on some discounted coach travel - deepen the bond with supporters prepared to make that extra journey during these difficult weeks
And our away form is good!

Darlington FC is locked up and I would suggest a lot cheaper. York City would be ideal.

I don't care were we play as long as we get some games played...Lets be honest after this snow we have no chance on our pitch......Wonder how many of us will venture to Donny.

why not bite the bullet and play all our "home" games away ? This wouldn't cost HTFC anything as we wouldn't be "renting" the ground. Living in hope the pitch will be ok, but I just don't see it this season.

If the club could put on additional transport at £10 per person, no doubt we would take a few for the remainder of the season.

Ged, Kettering are ground sharing with Corby. It might be worth a call to see how that arrangement is working financially to put to Farsley or BPA if that is the route available.

If BPA had a pitch that was unfit at the moment and our pitch was sound, would we entertain a ground share ? I think so. Good scouting potential !

I really feel sorry for Irvine and the club management. Frankly there was no solution that was good, and I think they've picked the "least bad" one. I wasn't going to be at the match against Workington due to another commitment. Now I might just see if I can wriggle out of it and be there.

Sadly inevitable. I hope I will be able to get to Donny, it is on the main line so trains from leeds should be fairly frequent. Still think Farsley would have been better Smile

Not such a bad idea Martin. I know it happens in the FA Cup when a small team can't cope with the crowd from a larger team, but not sure about league rules.

In addition, could we swap the Corby matches around to play them away first and then at home when the weather is better?...B*gg*r, if we'd realised earlier, then we could possibly have swapped some others round too. Now it won't work.
