I know we have a cover now, but its a really wet day here in Leeds and more rain forecast for tomorrow. Anyone know the situation at the ground...how is the pitch holding up?

I don't think ice will be the problem tomorrow and neither will the current rain....My money is that because we have called a pitch inspection, the pitch probably is still buggered from the last home game.

So whats the plan for winter as your pitch is knackered!! More and more games will be called off, so I presume the club will have plan B. So league games cannot be played at Knaresborough, Tadcaster or Railway as grounds do not meet BSN criteria. That leaves Farsley, Park Avenue and Guiseley who meet BSN. Park have NCEL Albion Sports ground sharing so that would count them out leaving Farsley and Guiseley!!!!

Fair enough, anyway even if you have to play 4 games a week the players should be fit enough. Then next season I am sure the pitch will be top notch. Shame about the FA Cup as you should of won it at the CNG, however as the saying goes you can concentrate on the league but what great cup run.

Irving's cover has been on the pitch for a few days I understand, and we had a dry spell before Friday's deluge to verti-drain the pitch .... fingers crossed as I am driving 210 miles to this one!

Currently taking the covers off so the referee can have thorough check. Might be a while!

So is it on or not ? Bit slow to get information out seeing as this is supposed to be a big promotional day, the inspection was over an hour ago and some have to travel.
