VERY VERY poor result, 3 wins (4 loses and 2 draws) so far is not a good record.

It sounds like we gifted Histon their biggest and only second win of the season so far, this is quite shocking considering the team we have, however short of strikers at the moment.

Vauxhall Motors battered Halifax (with 10 men?) on Saturday 5-1, we will no doubt see the backlash next week as Massifax will need to try make amends and with our record, I am not confident of a result in our favour.

I think we need to start improving and get another striker in, apart from Brayson we have no other threat up front at the moment.

Time to get it sorted now. Shocked

Out of 41 predictions only 1 went for a Histon win!

Nowakowski up front suggest Will Turls performance against Gloucester wasn’t good enough & with Hardy & Allan still injured & the F.A. cup draw on Monday this is NOT the time of the season to be short of strikers!

Nowakowski played up front!? :O stupid decision if true from Weaver.

Makes you wonder why he allowed Hassan to go back when we have a clear shortage of strikers at the moment!

Needed a back up plan in case Chib didn’t sign!
Allan has not played much football because of injury so was a gamble signing!
Hardy is unproven still at this level!
Hassan a young player on loan who was always likely to return to Hartlepool!
No chance of developing a centre forward partnership with loan strikers!
Turl no experience at this level!
Very difficult bringing in an experienced centre forward for this level now!!!
What happens if Brayson gets injured?

Looks like one step forward and two back at the moment. Lots of good things going on behind the scenes, but the same old problems with the actual football team: great web site, rubbish team! (I exaggerate of course.) How on earth we lose 4-0 to Histon beggars belief. Why do we have such a shortage of strikers that this early in the season we are playing makeweight strikers? By the way Simon Baldry scored again for Guiseley on Saturday (who, by the way, brushed aside Worcester 4-1, with Lee apparently making two of the goals...would you believe it?).

There is really little excuse: Mr Weaver told us at the July meeting that our budget was above half way for this league, so we should not be in this position. How can players of the quality of Ross, Wilson, Turnbull, anmd now Darville and Ashworth, keep losing?

By the way anyone know why Pell seems to have dropped out of the picture so completely? I don't recall him playing that badly, I'd like to see him playing personally.

Two massive Saturday games coming up: 500 + Halifax fans making it seem like a home game for them, and then the FA cup. If the new Board really want Town to start making an impact a decent cup run is ESSENTIAL. As is actually winning some football matches Shocked

Callum Hassan is now at Whitby Town:

Scored 2 in Five games for us, could have done with a longer loan spell with Town, maybe?

Nowakowski is not a Centre Forward at lower league level, never mind Conference North level.

Nothing against him, as he gives his all every time he plays for Town, but he is much better when he
can see the play in front of him, which is why he does OK at Centre Half.

Time for Simon to get the cheque book out again!!!!
