Supporters Club Meeting Empty Supporters Club Meeting

Post by thetallaccountant Sun Mar 05, 2017 4:25 pm

The next Supporters Club meeting will be this Tuesday at 7.15pm in the 1919 venue.

As well as the regular agenda items, it will feature a Q&A session with Garry Plant and Daniel McGeachie, with the main topics of match day experience, security, and segregation.

Supporters can also renew their membership or join the Club at this meeting.

    Q&A @ Town = lip service

They already should know what the issues are and have done so for a long time and, as is the way, nowt has or will change on the things that matter to a fair few of their original fans. Ask yourselves, what exactly has changed from the last proper meeting, after their true colours were accidently left out for all to see.

Perhaps they should take in a few Fylde games at their new ground to see what true inclusivity is like and not being made to feel like we need the SS to treat people like young offenders.

With the exception of one or two of the SS, they have feck all experience or affinity with stewarding a football game. And half the time make up **** to back up the daft imposition of BS new rules at the ground.

Loved the SS positioning of two of their mob next to the Town fans in the second half - WHY?!

Could also ask why e-cigs are now seemingly banned but we know the approach and attitude behind these decisions made, so all in a pointless exercise.

Which is exactly why I'm going to bring it up Carefree. We need stewards at home games to meet all manner of legislation and police/council advice. I'd imagine there are limited firms that undertake this type of work so options maybe limited but I'll put forward any ideas or feedback fans have.
