Very early I know, but I was just killing time before going off to have my fish and chip lunch. Latest odds seem to be:

    Fylde 11/2
    Stockport 7/1
    Alfreton 10/1
    Chorley 10/1
    FC United 10/1
    Telford 11/1
    Solihull/Tamworth/Boston 12/1
Harrogate Town 16/1 (altho' two firms have us at 14/1)

    Any thoughts?

Stockport look a bargain at 7/1, the players they have signed.

What were the odds for BPA? I would have thought they would be in the mix, new billionaire owner and all.

I can't believe we are at 16/1, thought we'd have been at shorter odds than that. Bookies aren't obviously clued up on non-league.

Well, the bookies clearly have not been paying attention to our amazing pre-season form. At the moment the lowest price is 16-1 and up to 18-1 (the 14/1 has disappeared). They clearly cannot make up their minds about BPA: prices there vary from 14/1 to 25/1. Fylde still the favourites, 'doing a Fleetwood' I suppose.

They must have based that purely on the position they finished in the table last season.

Although pre-season form is promising, it counts for nothing when it comes to the League fixtures, but it will be interesting to see if we can get off to a positive start. Its a pretty tough opening month.

I successfully predicted the top 5 last season. Had a 20p accumulator on it and won £28'725.12

    This season, I predict

    1 - Harrogate Town
    2 - Corby
    3 - Lowerstoft
    4 - Brackley Town
    5 - Gloucester City

Last season bookies gave us good odds for promotion, we all know what happened then ! Probably more cautious this time around, plus a stronger looking league. Already saving up for my first £13 of the season, late September me thinks....fingers crossed !

He only goes when he gets a free ticket. I wonder whether he will land any free away tickets next season.

The only reason I'm going on Saturday as it is £2 to get in. I wouldn't be paying £13 to go and watch them against Railway as I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't either. By doing this, they will get an extra 300/400 in, maybe even more. Oh, and I did go to the Leeds game and the Gateshead game, and they both weren't free, so your above comment is totally pointless as it is factually incorrect.

On another note, If you got offered a free ticket, I'm sure you both wouldn't turn it down. I'm finding it quite amusing that you have nothing better to do with your time than to make sarcastic comments on a forum, under an alias similar to mine, because you don't have the mental capacity to think of your own user name.

And as for zzzz, enough said really. The username says it all.

Not much change. Ladbrokes have us at 12/1, otherwise its 16/1 or 18/1 Fylde still favourites, followed by Stockport, then Alfreton and FC United. Chorley, Telford, Solihull come next at 11/1. BPA's prices still all over the place.
Watch our price shorten dramatically when we have defeated Brackley with ease on Saturday!
