In all honesty, I will believe it when it is released on the club website. Too many false promises in the last season for me to get my hopes up for this season, i'm afraid.
Hypothetically, if he did come. I would certainly expect 5 or 6 more players of the same calibre to follow as well.

Well, the rest of the non-league forums seem pretty convinced he has signed for us. Doesn't mean he has of course, but IF he has could the club please put us out of our misery and TELL US.
If true its awesome news, but Neil is right, needs to be backed up with other quality signings, if we are to finally get ourselves into serious promotion contention.
By the way, both Toulson and Lowe have gone to Guiseley, and they have retained virtually all of their squad from last year.

I've sculpted a life size Walshaw like mannikin out of alabaster and decorated with a Town scarf and yellow and black rose petals. I'm going to spend the night in front of it praying.

Keep praying to that idol TownUltra! We need all the support (divine or otherwise) we can get. I can understand the club not wanting to announce anything until contracts have been signed etc. but its killing us supporters. The disappointment if he doesn't now sign for us will be very hard to take. The 3 York players look pretty good, but not that sensational, if they sign. Does Rankine score goals?

The longer the silence from the club website the more concerned I got. Why do we always miss the best players? Presumably we will get Kendall as an NFU cast off...small consolation. He isn't a bad player but NFU will have Jarman, Walshaw and Wilson...Holy Crap!
