New Signing from Eastwood?

According to the Non League website we have signed Rory Prendergast from Eastwood:

Not sure how correct this is or indeed why we may have signed another midfield player when all the talk has been about bringing in a striker.

Interesting, he was always horizontal when he was an Accrington player

I dont think I am giving any secrets away - I believe the striker that was muted on the website fell through a week or so ago.

If anyone from the club looks at this, Lee Gregory from Staveley is available. He turned down Alfreton before the season started and is a natural goalscorer.

Currently injured with ligamment problems!

Too late he has joined Mansfield today.

Well the signing was never announced on the web site which is where formal news appears ... maybe he failed a medical?

He hasn't left for good as far as I know.

Take it this and the other lad with dreadlocks never did happen then? Nothing on the official site so never went through despite what nonleaguedaily has to say about it.

There was a young chap with dreadlocks sat in the stand on Saturday who I had never seen at Town before, reading the posts this week I had assumed that this was Reid. but as you say nothing on the official website about him, Prendergast or the new striker who was going to be announced a couple of weeks back. Presumably things didn't work out or details being finalised. Its quite frustrating for us ordinary fans.

As said on another thread the striker that was originally sought fell through a week or two ago, maybe the club are not publicising it because they may still be hopeful of signing him.

Also as far as I know both the new players are still at the club - again there must be a reason why the club has not officially announced it.
