Really gutted that I couldn't attend yesterday. It looks like I missed a really good evening.

I will have to make up for it somehow!!!!

I was hoping for a little speech from Irving updating us on developments, ground wise etc. but did not happen. (Mind you I left at the break!).

Paul- apologies for not including an update. We originally planned to do this but due to unforeseen circumstances we didn't start until 4.15pm and we were working to a tight schedule. Needless to say Irving was "dissapointed" as well. If you detail your questions I will make a point of asking Irving to respond on the website.

Thanks Ged, I guess the main question really is about the ground and if we do get promotion (WHEN we get promotion!), will our ground be acceptable for the Conf. Premier? I'm sure Irving has got this in hand, but I'd like to know if this issue is being addressed...I'm sure it is!

Congratulations to my old friends Jim Hague & John Walker, thoroughly deserved.

Ged - any idea when we will find out about the new signings? The suspense is killing me!! Also do you know when information regarding season tickets will be released?

Soon and soon - season tickets are being finalised and the signings will be released when Simon gives the go-ahead (he gave his reasons in the interview)

Keep the patience a little longer and all will be revealed.

dont release them before thursday night its my final exam and if you do it will stop all revision

Actually thinking about it, it may have been at the presentation evening - losing track in my old age!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The long and short of it is that they are coming to the end of their contracts and Simon doesn't want any last minute interest showing in them (so we can get em without hassle!!)

Irving answered this at the first presentation evening - I asked the question

The basic answer is that with the current ongoing work and the expected planning permission, we'll be able to play in the Conference Prem as our ground will meet the standards.

Yes,it was at the second presentation event. Simon said that we have signed some new players but it can't be announced until after they [the players] have spoken to their current clubs.

From memory, I think that most contracts tend to run from June to the following May so technically nothing is announced until the beginning of June for players under contract elsewhere.
