Neil29 started a good post about players' jobs aside from playing for town. I was going to respond with the occupations of various ex town players, but the thread appears to have been removed. Why? Other clubs forums have had similar threads.

Re: Where's that thread gone?!
I removed it, because it got 61 views, and no-one posted any comments, so I deleted it.
I can re-instate, if people are interested.
I thought it would give the forum members a closer view into the players also.

Re: Where's that thread gone?!
The interviews in the programme sometimes give some info. I seem to recall Chib saying that he was a 'full time footballer;, and I suspect that a number of players, whilst being paid part time, will still regard themselves as being effectively full time, maybe doing some coaching etc. By the way didn't the TV item during our cup run tell us that Beesley is a furniture remover, and Shane Killock is a teacher?

Sources? I didn't realise I was back at school. I've listed their occupations - make what you want of the information.

Haha the time it takes Chibs to look up and pass the ball I guess he would be running into the full time status!

Re: Where's that thread gone?!
The sourse for Chib was an a feature in the programme this season (I'm sure Peter could verify), the source for Beesley and Shane is the TV (I think Look North), little feature before our Hastings game, showed Paul loading stuff into a firniture van and Shane going into a (primary) classroom, and the kids saying 'Good Morning Mr.Killock'. Blimey, its like being back at Uni: footnotes MUST be provided!
