Just heard the news we have signed Dave Merris!

The legend returns!

Cracking player, remember him a few years back bombing up and down that left hand side to great effect.

I realise he is getting a bit old, but lets hope he's still got that bit of class!

A very reliable player.

Never saw him play, but I'm excited now! Good news!

Yes, great news. Age I suppose might be a factor, but he was virtually an ever present at Guiseley so he clearly still has it. Might present a bit of a selection problem for Simon: Radcliffe or Mezza?

Just checked Wiki, he is still only 31, 32 in October, so a good few years left in him yet

I think I'm right in saying that Mezza keeps himself very fit.

I don't think there is anything to worry about with regards to Mezza's age. Look at Lee Elam he's 35 and he can still run up and down that wing week in week out.

Likewise just heard the good news - welcome back Mezza. Seen him play many times and always a strong determined performance. He will be an asset for us and strengthen our left flank. Good signing!
