Blink and you'll miss them

Anyone else as surprised as me at the extremely raid turnover of players throughout this season? Players who looked quite good suddenly disappear: Dutton went to Northwich and has scored regularly for them since, Muirhead looked pretty good to me, pacey and had some 'presence', but he went almost as soon as he arrived (can't see Shepherd being any better), Ben Chapman looked solid to me, again he has gone after only a few games, I still don't feel that Hernandez had a fair go at nailing down the keeper's position, and dare I mention Tevor Benjamin, OK, I know, I know, but he scored 3 goals in a few games: has Simon Yeo looked remotely like scoring? And, of course, Simn Sturdy went 'missing' on loan for months. Wood seems to have almost vanished eetc. etc.

With hindsight (easy I know) there might have been a case for sticking with that original squad (and assistant!), with a few additions, after all we did win 3 games out of 10, on that average we'd have 9 wins and would be little closer to safety.

Any thoughts on this?

What about Jimmy Ghaichem gone to Ilkeston Town, another player who showed promise but not given enough of a chance in my view.

Then again do all the players who have gone want to play for Town or indeed Weaver?

Curtis left cause he didnt want to play for Weaver, not just cause of boxing commitments.
I know this happend ages ago but what happend to are old goalkeeper John Lamb?

He was talking to Jon Maloneys dad, who i was stood next too before the game and Maloneys dad said so why arnt you playing at the moment? and he said many reasons...manager,fitness etc.

Fair enough. Little insight maybe into the rest of the squad if our most high profiel signing didnt get on with the manager.

It makes me think that the majority of the squad just dont want to play for Weaver anymore. I do honestly believe if they put someone else in the hotseat, the squad would imporve, but while Weaver is in the hotseat, it just wont happen.
