Re: Anyone go to last nights meeting
A very good business case was put forward with questions from the floor answered. Concerns included injuries, community usage, attracting players and the FA future views on usage. Town have put a lot of thought and effort into researching this and it will act as a central plank in ensuring all Town teams from youth, women's and 1st train and play at the CNG. It also allows increased usage from junior teams and the public with the added revenue stream of the 3G @ John Fisher.
Maidstone were extensively consulted, the pitch will be top notch and a world away from the 3G pitches elsewhere in Harrogate.
It is change and for purists it will be a leap of faith but it will happen and has noted elsewhere on threads, the volume of lost time on cancelled matches and training will be removed and hopefully the style of play will reflect a slick responsive surface.
Players have been consulted as have coaches so forza town
