So who writes his scripts then? Incredible ending to the match. What a player! I have BT Sport and watched most of the game. To be honest for 75 minutes it looked like a completely routine win for Wrexham, then after 75 minutes they got the penalty, then the great Billy Heath (if only guys, if only), brought on Kendall and, basically, he won them the FA Trophy, simple as that. Both his goals were classic strikers goals (why couldn't you do it for us Ryan?), and he could have scored two more. They coudn't handle him, he's a big lad! The scenes at the end were incredible: to see THREE ex Town lads (Bolder, Peat and the mighty Kendall) walking up the Wembley steps to get their medals was fantastic. Talk about mixed feelings, I kept thinking: 'it could be us, it SHOULD be us', but I doubt if it ever will be. Their Chairman was in tears (I almost was and I don't even support Ferriby!), I couldn't help thinking, I wonder if Irving is watching this, and has realised he has hitched his wagon to the wrong horse?
Anyway, fantastic coup for the conference North, a great match (from 75 minutes in), and Ryan Kendall will always have that memory of scoring twice (TWICE!) at Wembley.
Now then Irving, can we have Ryan back next season, and their (brilliant) keeper, oh, and Billy Heath while you are about it!!
