Looks like it will be the under 21 side as their first team has a friendly at Rochdale at the same time

Re: Town v Blackburn Rovers
They will be playing their league games in the Barclays under 21 Premier League against the likes of Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea etc…
So there will be some decent footballers in their side, so you should get your £6 worth on Sat!!!!!!

Re: Town v Blackburn Rovers
As I've said before, the teams of under 21's and fringe players are in some ways more of a test than playing the full team in a friendly.
These guys will be out to get themselves noticed by their first team management and as such will generally try to go in harder and play faster at this time of the season.
Should be a good 'un - or at least better than the first half against Lincoln..............

Good job their sub keeper didn’t get more of a hand on it!!
He would have been picking that up out of the back of the net as well as the ball.

Great performance on Saturday, and for 90 minutes as well. Worsfold looks like a great signing as does Hall. Where was Tommy Wright I wonder? Not sidelined already surely? As for Adam, well you have to say 'magnificent'. Both as a centre half (superb) and the goal. I havn't always been a fan, but he was awesome on Saturday. Trev??
It is looing good, bit short notice for me to get to Portadown alas:(

Paul I wrote how I felt about his performance on another thread.....I thought he played great and hope he does again in the future.
Like I say he is good squad player who now and again pipes out a 9 out of 10 performance...Could he consistantly do it on a competitive front, who knows, but he hasn't up to now.

Re: Town v Blackburn Rovers
And just to put things into perspective, it was just a friendly, the time to properly judge is when the league games come rolling in thick and fast, the ground cuts up and we will see if he is still confident enough to pass.
I still believe he isn't good enough to play in a promotion chasing midfield on a regular basis and will stand by that (lets be honest thats what my issue was with him, and not so much with him, more with Weaver selecting him). Substitute centre back is his level in the current squad or possible right back.
