Good for him, but the behaviour he's admitted to should have meant this 'family friendly' club went nowhere near him.

Well, now that the trial is over. He needs to focus on performing consistently for the club, if he stands a realistic chance of resurrecting his football career.
The trial has obviously affected him on and off the pitch. But now that there is nothing hanging over him, he now has a chance to show the fans what he is really capable of.
I will be watching his performances over the next few weeks with interest.

Yes and I hope the club aren't smug about him getting off.
