Should do well in Railway's league but I really don't think he is up to the standard of the Conference North so it's a good move for him. He just lacks that bit of quality to compete at this level.

You obviously have not seen him play very often. He's far superior and stronger than the midget KERRY who Simon insists on playing in his central midfield role. Whenever Dean has managed to get on the pitch hes bin out of position on the right. You only get the best out of players when played in their correct positionsChips97 wrote:Should do well in Railway's league but I really don't think he is up to the standard of the Conference North so it's a good move for him. Absolutely spot on Garage. In order to get the best out of your players, they have to be played in their most natural position at all times. The only time they should potentially play out of position is in case of injuries. Apart from that, you dont try to fix what isnt broken.
In the case of Luke Dean, its unfortunate we have players of the calibre of Featherstone and Kerry. But he is someone who can perform at this level, without a shadow of a doubt.

Luke Dean cannot perform at this level and was a pointless buy from Weaver at the start of the season! He is technically not good enough for this level. Nowakowski makes up for that by being a big unit who get's stuck in whereas Dean doesn't do that. Kerry is technically a better passer whereas Dean isn't. Weaver only signed Dean because he's mates with him and he had no club.TheNeil29 wrote:GARAGE wrote:You obviously have not seen him play very often. You have just proved my point Chips saying Luke Dean does not get stuck in -- you have not seen him play very often have youChips97 wrote:Luke Dean cannot perform at this level and was a pointless buy from Weaver at the start of the season! I have seen him play plenty of times. He's a very inconsistent player so I'm starting to think you haven't seen him play often.GARAGE wrote:You have just proved my point Chips saying Luke Dean does not get stuck in -- you have not seen him play very often have youChips97 wrote:Luke Dean cannot perform at this level and was a pointless buy from Weaver at the start of the season! Luke dean was quality at Harrogate last time he was here huge engine gets goals but needs games and not out wide. I would suggest if you don't rate him your either need your eyes testing or maybe netball might be a better option for you to watch

Actually, prior to signing for Harrogate Town, Luke had offers to go elsewhere and decided to come back to Harrogate. The only player Simon is mates with is Matt Bloomer, but they go back to their Lincoln days those 2.
