    Chesterfield Empty Chesterfield

Belshaw again saves us - we could easily have gone down 2 or 3 -0 before we got the goal against the run of play to go in at halftime 1-1. Too many players playing for themselves no team work no passing not looking like scoring until the substitution then we played more on the floor more as a team more composure and guess what a couple of Goals.

Simon can you please tell Diamond that he has team mates and he is allowed to pass the ball to a team mate which just might help the lad instead of letting him be totally selfish do his tricks and lose the ball at every opportunity.

Great 2nd half display from the lads. Once we got the 2nd, we over run them, and in the end it could of been 4,5 maybe 6-1. Some stand out performances once again. Beck playing superb at the mo, must be a nightmare for defenders. Ryan gets better every game and rightly given MOM. Falky, totally in control in his central midfield area, just oozes class. Both center half’s now looking a great pairing. Great judgement from the Manager and Thirs in bringing both to the club. Tommo once again impressed coming on in place of Brendan. Must surely be on verge of regaining his starting slot. Finally, would like to mention the new left back. Looks very good, and certainly made the back four a much more solid unit. Onwards and upwards, Proud to be Town.

Second half truly was a pleasure to watch, with two tremendous goals. That's one defeat in 12, with a decent run of games coming up. And a decent crowd, with 1,200 home fans. Lets hope they turn up for the big one on Tuesday town. It is quite conceivable we could be top of the pile when the break for the Trophy comes up, which our aspirations seem to have outgrown. Lets hope the two way loan with the Murderers becomes a permanent swop...
One niggle - can we kindly stop taking kids on loan from big league clubs, who seem to have egos beyond their meagre talents, showboat to no great effect, play for themselves and not the team, mentioning no names. One cannot imagine that it does much for the morale of the squad, Simon... bringing them in, and seeing players like Tommo side-lined. Stick with our own please... unless, of course, Reece James or Billy Gilmour fancy a 6 month sabbatical... haha! Now they do have talent.
