Eastleigh at home Empty Eastleigh at home

Thought we were very lucky 1st half especially after probably our 1st visit to their 18 yd box after 26 mins we scored. Really showed how we miss jack and especially Falky . We upped our game a little 2nd half and ran out comfy winners. Think it was our fitness which was the difference in the end. Well done Mulldoon who deserved his goals and always gives 100 per cent. Beck was a revelation when he came on causing all sorts of problems for their defence. Leesley seems to spend most of his time blaming others for his mistakes and needs to concentrate on improving his own game. He really stuggles to beat his man nowerdays.
2nd in the league now and still unbeaten after 8 games am i dreaming. We don’t need anymore injuries!  Looked like Leesley limped off near the end. Finally Sutton didn’t do anything wrong after only touching the ball only once.

    Agree Garage.
Eastleigh were slightly the better team for the first 20 or so minutes, we seemed to lack a bit of cohesion in midfield. Missing Falkingham and Emmott in the centre was probably why it took us a bit of time to get an understanding together. We just need to battle through this period having several players out, getting the lad on loan from Scunthorpe meant we could field a full bench yesterday.
On their forum, they didn't rate us, but with Falkingham, Emmott, Fallowfield and Thewliss all missing, I will take 4-0.

Sadly it’s just too easy nowadays to just sit @ home on your sofa & switch on your TV to get your football fix!

I spoke to some away fans yesterday who said they had set off at 6am to follow their team. You have to admire that sort of commitment.
