Tonight's game being cancelled could turn out to be a godsend. Our team will be fresher as the lads will have a full week to recover from the Brackley match and Simon will not have to worry about any possible injuries. Hyde had a Manchester Cup match last night but it too was cancelled so both teams should be fresh and raring to go. Hyde won their second league match at home on Saturday so will be feeling more confident and a bit better about themselves. Their strike partnership of Jevons and Spencer are the source of their main goal threat. Stop the supply to them Simon and hopefully we'll get a result. COME ON TOWN.

Looking at Hyde's team. As well as Jevons and Sinclair, you have Matty Blinkhorn, Kelvin Lomax, David Poole and Matt Cassidy, as well as Liam Tomsett. All players which are of an extremely high calibre. We are going to have our work cut out for this one, but if we play as well as we did against Brackley, we might sneak a 1-0 or 2-1 game, but I wouldnt be too disappointed with a draw, and a replay.

Re: Hyde FC 4th Rd Qual
Just got back from witnessing a great comeback.
First half we gave them too much respect and let them play a little, gave away a sloppy penalty however for all Hyde's fancy fairy passing they created nothing (easy to see why they are bottom of the conference).
2nd half was much better, we were far more hungrier and was closing down quicker...to be honest we dominated and should have had 2 or 3....considering we didn't play anywhere near our best I am quite pleased with the manner in which we took the game to them.
A fair few Harrogate fans there too made for a good atmosphere, roll on Tuesday!

Re: Hyde FC 4th Rd Qual
Fantastic effort, particularly having gone a goal down so early on and behind for 80 minutes.
Vocal Town support and a linesman who had the courage to give the goal. I did think we had blown it when Allen was through one on one a few minutes before and blasted it straight at the keepers chest.
We got at them, and judging by the way their players were going down deeper than a Status Quo number and conning the referee, we kept our discipline and passed it. Although Beesley and Chilaka didn't score, I thought the way they held the ball up and rarely lost possession gave us a platform to play our game.
A very proud town supporter tonight.

Forgot to say, my star man for today was Luke Dean. Bolder's passing was a bit wayward today but Dean more than made up for it and the strikers worked tirelessly.

Forget the Champion’s League & get down to the CNG on Tuesday!
It will be a tough game & we need the vocal support.
Great support by the fans that made it to Hyde!!!!!

Re: Hyde FC 4th Rd Qual
Just prey the pitch holds out just enough but isn't too good....when we bullied them and stopped their passing they looked weak, have even more bullying on Tues and stop them passing (with the help of the pitch) and we should win.
