Tom Cahill and Craig Dootson have left Fleetwood Town after there promotion to Blue Square Premier.
Id love to see Tom back, and i remember we signed Dootson only for him to pull out at the last minute to sign for Fleetwood then make his debut against us the following night!

I noticed that too. I thought Cahill looked pretty good, would not mind having him back as third striker. Dootson too would be excellent.

I liked Tom Cahill as well, but we now have 4 strikers (Ellington, Hardy, Armstrong, Savory) and thats probably enough!

Don't forget Ellington in the retained list (unless you know something I don't!).

    Post by TheNeil29 Thu Jun 24, 2010 12:43 pm

I was bored, so I have just been doing a cross check against Wikipedia and the HTFC website, and on the team as of the 3rd June 2010, if it all tallies up correctly, the following players are no longer with the club:

    Stephen Hernandez
    Richard Dunning
    Craig James
    Josh Radcliffe
    Ollie Ryan
    Simon Sturdy

Dave Syers is still on there, but he has not agreed terms for this season.

Does anyone know what happened? or where they have gone?

Roy Stamer has gone back to Farsley, thought he looked pretty good for the few games he played for us:

Wonder how many more will go back to the lower leagues with Farsley (Hopefully not Dave Syers. Cool )

Looking forward to seeing some games.

They are good players, but in that league they may be outstanding, just depends if they are going to take pay cuts as well?

Unlike halifax, Farsley won't have any money, but at least the council back them by buying the ground for Farsleys use. Unlike Harrogate who give us jack s**t.

Ben Chapman, Michael Wood, and Simon Sturdy have all moved to Frickley:

Luke Malcher also there aswell. Sure a lot of Town fans will be following FC Halifax and Frickley - right little collections of old Town players at both now.
