By Car
Leave the M60 at Junction 21 and take the A663 towards Manchester City Centre (turning right at the traffic lights with the the Boat and Horses pub on the left hand corner and then crossing back over the motorway). After passing a Premier Inn and then the Whitegate pub/beefeater on your left, turn right at the traffic lights into Hollinwood Avenue (Signposted A6104 Middleton/Moston Railway Station). Continue along Hollinwood Avenue passing Moston Railway Station on the left. At the next roundabout take the first exit (with the Gardeners Arms on one side) into Lightbowne Road. The entrance to Broadhurst Park is further down in the left.

Car Parking

There is parking available at the stadium itself, which costs £5 per car. However, these have to be pre-booked with the Club. There is a resident’s only parking scheme in place around the St Mary's End of the ground. However, there is plenty of street parking on other streets a little further away. One such road is Moston Road which runs alongside the nearby Park. If following the car directions above, then on reaching the roundabout with the Gardeners Arms, take the second exit into Moston Lane. At the next roundabout take the first exit, continuing on Moston Lane down to the park.

The Manchester Creative & Arts Academy (M9 7FS) have 150 Car Parking spaces available at a cost of £3 each. There is a free shuttle bus available to and from Broadhurst Park.

By Train
The nearest railway station is Moston, which is located just under a mile away from Broadhurst Park. It is served by trains from Manchester Victoria and Leeds. However it is only an hourly service, currently departing on Saturday afternoons from Manchester Victoria at 26 minutes past the hour.

It is about a 15 minute walk from the station to the ground. As you come out of the station entrance, turn left along Hollinwood Avenue (there is a handy Fish & Chip shop called Farrrells, as well as a cash point at the NatWest Bank, opposite). You will then reach a roundabout with the Gardeners Pub on the left. Take the first exit onto Lighbowne Road and the stadium entrance is further down on the left.

By Metrolink
There is a regular Metrolink service (every 12 minutes) from Manchester Victoria to the Newton Heath and Moston Stop, which is on the line out to Rochdale. The Newton Heath and Moston Stop is located just over a mile away from Broadhurst Park. However, the Club do lay on free shuttle buses from the nearby Railway Hotel pub to the stadium. Journey time from Manchester Victoria is 11 minutes and the cost for an Adult is £3 return.

Any person applying for a concession may be asked to produce identification at the turnstile. If a supporter is unwaged and do not have proof of any of the above they must contact the office prior to a game.

The policy for disabled supporters is the disabled person pays and the carer receives free admission.

Turnstiles open at 1pm for Saturday matches and at 6.30pm on midweek matches. Please arrive in time for the start of the match. Our turnstiles are operated by volunteers and arriving early will allow them to finish work as soon as possible after the start of the match. The correct change is also very gratefully received. There is a sign above each turnstile indicating which category of supporter can use each gate and a summary is listed below. Please refer to this information to speed up entry.

Alternatively you can use Northern from Leeds at 26 minutes past each hour, its the slow train past Hebden Bridge etc and takes an hour and an half, but it saves having to go into Manchester and back out so in the long run takes roughly the same time, and you have more chance of getting a seat, in fact on the way there we have never failed, if you book online its £5.50 each way from Leeds at the moment, there is a return at 1732 which gives you plenty of time for train rations from the parade of shops over the road from the station on Hollinwood Avenue.
If you do go into Moston station the easiest way of getting to the ground is turn right at the top of the ramp and then immediately right again along the track running down the side of the railway to Nuthurst Road.

Also on Saturday for those who like a bit of entertainment our "Club night in the afternoon" Course You Can Malcolm (or Malcolms as it has come to be known) is on under the SMRE this Saturday, music is supplied by Liam McClair (son of Brian) this week and its well worth getting there early for.

It’s been a very good day today for Salford City!!!!!!

We have been playing like a bottom half of the table team the last 6 weeks (I've seen 5 out of 7 anyway). Realistically we are not going to get auto promotion and may find our fall off form gets us out of the top 7. Even if in top 7, we won't be rated a strong chance for promotion as there will be 5 other probably equal contenders.
They fully deserved their win, had other on goal misses (how many did we have?), hit the post and I must say from where I was standing we were lucky to get a free kick (leading to our first goal) when Thewliss fell to the floor.
We may improve if all our returnees gel again and in Beck we have a new dimension but we are unlikely to catch Salford now.
Some of our players showed their limitations today, but I must say that Falky played out of his skin again.
I must also congratulate FCUM on a well deserved victory which the passion and loyalty of their supporters fully deserved.

At that place I would be happy if we didn't concede 3, which we have done consistently over the last 4 years!!!!
What is it with that ground?

We should have had 2/3 goals 1st half and had it won but their keeper pulled off 2 super saves. We did our usual and did not come out after half time. Possibly the Parker incident going into the tunnel at half time upset us.
Thought United went out of their way to upset certain of our players and it worked. Still wondering how Leesley stays on the pitch every week and have come to the conclusion we don't have anyone to replace him.
Beck needs more time to get used to his new playmates and Ainge looked good when he came on apart from his usual trick of being offside several times. 1st look at Ainge and Beck together leaves me still wondering if it will work. Finally that slow build up from the back playing the ball sidewards and backwards still leaves me upset because we nearly always end up booting the ball upfront and loosing possession.

Got to say, yesterday was very disappointing and a chance missed to keep some kind of pressure on Salford. Looking very good in the 1st 20mins, then taking a lead, I never expected what was to come. Again, too many players dropped there standards, probably thinking it was just a matter of strolling through the 90 minutes and picking up another 3points. As you rightly said Fulhamphoenix, Falkingham was immense, again. If only half the team had his desire, wed of had no such problems yesterday. I know there’s a long way to go, which is a bonus now we are virtually back to full strength. Tuesday is vitally important now,. Kidderminster will be no easy passage tho, so we must be focused and fired up. I’m sure Simon and Thirwell will drill this into them before ko. Keep the faith.

With Kidderminster & Nuneaton both being full-time sides, it will be interesting to see how we cope fitness wise as well as performance wise over the next 2 games!
It takes a few games to get your “match fitness” back when you have been out for a while!
