Thought we should have won but just shows how much we miss Ainge. Possession wise we won the game but if we cannot score then we might throw away our good start. We need a goalscorer fast. Good attendance today so hope they continue to enjoy what they have seen today.
Roll on Tuesday's mouth watering clash with title favourites.

Totally agree garage, I too thought we did enough to win. How the refferee didn't give a free kick against Terry leading to there goal was incredible!! He was basically wrestled to the ground? Anyway, another fine display from our multi-talented team, and can't wait for what could be an even bigger test on Tuesday night v the Leauge favourites. Let's hope it's another bumper crowd at the CNG. I believe it could be at least the equivalent if not better than today as Salford I assume will bring more than the car full that Brackley brought today. Onwards and upwards, but finally, good luck to Si + Dom in there recoverys from injury.

Bear in mind that we were playing the team that had conceded only 2 gals in 7 matches so it could be argued we did well to score one. Plenty of good football on display but very few clear chances created by either side who seemed to cancel one another out as the game progressed. Seven of today's league matches were drawn and one of the four winners was bottom team Leamington. It's great to be undefeated and top of such a competitive league!

Excellent first half but rather huff and puff as the game wore on, and both sides seemed content with a point long before the final whistle. Which leads one to ask, how long is SA out? We are desperately missing him on today's showing. And, no - loan strikers (and the point has been long debated on here) won't do; have repeatedly failed us, lack commitment. As for converting another big man... Whatever Simon saw in SA, which every manager back to Bradford City, failed to spot (which just shows good at their job most of them are), was his master stroke - and such fortune isn't going to repeat itself. The need for a quality forward will become ever more apparent, as autumn turns to winter. We all remember Halifax away last season, and how a good start vanished with the summer. Historically, the team has had little appetite for turning out on a cold Tuesday night in December. Let's hope we are not in for a repeat. Crying or Very sad

Ainge had an operation last week and is out for 3 months. Although it is hoped that he will back sooner given the full time rehab.
