How was he able to leave then? I like to think if we had players we were desperate to keep we'd have them under contract so if the player wanted to leave we'd get a fee for them.

Like I said if they were desperate to keep him why wasnt he signed up under contract before his current deal ran out, the may of wanted him to stay but was ready disposable
