We currently have 8 games to play for a chance of the play-offs.
At the beginning of next season we will have 42 games to play for a chance of the play-offs!!!

BL is dead right. We have to put everything into these games as long as there is hope. If that means loans so be it.

As the squad is currently depleted by injuries wouldn't one possibility be to recall Brooksby (he got a hat - trick the other day) - and Chib for that matter?

Would need 8 of 9 to make it now i guess and that one loss would probably be Kiddy away so its 100% win ratio after that..not good i'm afraid. I would say start preparing for next season, but with the usual end of season rotating door syndrome as well as Town going full time this could really be a strange pre season to work out.
Looking at the league overall i guess Town are pretty much sitting in the right spot and pretty much in the spot that most of us realistically thought they would be. There are some pretty big hitters in the league this season and to think that we would finish above them was a tough ask. It looks like Kiddy and Fylde will be moving on at the end of the season so thats two big guns gone. Looking at the bottom of the national, nothing really to scary coming down either, Southport, N Ferriby and York maybe, that would be fun. So going full time and maybe a slightly easier league next season then i think this would be the year for Simon to finally try and achieve his goal of the next league up.

Only 8 games left, so need to win them all.
Our injury crisis in October/November when we played all the top sides killed us. Otherwise we would have been in the mix. We dropped silly points against Altrincham, Tamworth, Gainsborough etc which did not help either.

Hope Brooksby gets recalled however I'd be very surprised.

We now have a media team and a head of communications yet seem more interested in Tweeting about Simon Ainge getting a footjob.

It's all about promoting local businesses to bring in more £££.

Without the interest of the fans there is very little to gain for local companies if a lot of the fans can't be arsed interacting with the official twitter and Facebook club accounts for very clear reasons.

Assuming King starts tomorrow what will the team be: Crook, Turner, King, Ellis, Parker, Agnew, Burrell, Thirlwell, Colbeck, Ainge, Lesley. Not bad but the bench.might be a bit thin!

Swap Thirlwell for JP. Platt could play a number of roles and don't forget Emmett. Bench will look like a queue for an u15 movie at a this rate!
