This was discussed at the last meeting and progress has already made. We now have a new fresher image to promote away travel and supporters club.

There has been progress with the website, which we are planning on launching for next season.

This was raised with Daniel McGeachie at recent supporters club meeting.

The answer was that the club has no appetite to promote either away travel or the supporters club. He advised that this is due to the supporters club not being a partner of HTFC and that the club could not control the away travel experience. He offered to promote if the club took control of taking bookings and arranging coaches however I advised that this would not be happening. He then left the meeting.

Ah sorry to hear that Jordan. That said, not really a surprise I should imagine.

To be fair I would think given the club and McGeachie's grasp on a football related 'experience' at Wetherby road, it would only be wholly detrimental to something that is one of the few good aspects of the club from a supporter's perspective.....

Seems wholly petty as well not to retweet the messages.

And sad also to see that the club feel they need to 'control' these things, speaks volumes as to the wider view of the club/its fans by some at Town.

Even basic stuff like this for me, shows the wide gap between club as a Weaver controlled for my son only and those on its pay roll doing stuff for their own ends and the ultimate impact and huge risk the long term future of the club has when our managers tenure is over. Sleep walking into it we are.

Suppose there was no questions on how Full time football will be financed and what happens to the legacy of debt to fund it once Simon moves on?

To be fair most football supporters clubs are run independently to the actual football clubs they represent!
Hopefully having our own website next season might help to boost our membership levels!
The revenue from being able to hire out 2 3G pitches will help towards some of the extra costs next season!
