Another tough one Saturday!
They have only lost 3 away league matches all season & have kept 9 clean sheets on their travels!
Although they did lose @ Boston

Funny, this started off as a Chorley game preview and reflection and has now got onto this.Carefree wrote:You are right Blinker. It can't be easy with some of the new mindsets of modern players vs the set of lads we used to have 15 year back.....someone said on here about the Louis v washbag brigade and it's true.
BUT managers all have the same group to choose from and at town given the budgets each year it is a very decent lure to get the right lads in.
As you say coaching them on would be great.....Ainge proves counter to this and needs plaudits but all too many have gone the other way.
I really hope Jack isn't going to be the same. Would be a huge shame as we seem to have this big club, for this level, mentality of just getting more, new and well respected players in to make up for the fact that the last batch didn't get the results Weaver wanted.
Where normally a manager might change and a different ethos and approach come in it is very clear at town that the players are the only fall guys. Year after year.
Worrying bit is that the stakes are even higher next season..... being full time the budgets go up and, I would genuinely like anyone to address this - if indeed any town fans as the long term custodians of the club have been allowed such important information - what arrangements have been made to cover the increased debt.? Given the turn over of players the stakes will be even higher and so too the debt. Knowing the Maidstone model.....who btw are very open about operating costs and budgets and their bottom line.....there is no way on earth we can sustain the impact of full time vs what the Stones are doing regarding their considered approach to the switch.
So where are debts going.? What happens when the Weavers go to this debt.? Do the supporters club know or has anyone asked?
A genuine question that would be great for someone to help shed light on.
