The season starts here- stolen from HTAFC but so true. After the recent run of poor results and in some cases poor displays, it's time to put the excuses away and get on with winning. Absolutely no reason why we can't put on a show for the support and with aspirations of promotion, it's got to be a convincing win. Players have got to show desire and want the ball and we need to get back to the quick passing confident style that we know these players can produce. If we lose then I'm taking up cribbage.

Yes, no reason why we can't rescue our season, its not too late. You feel as though another defeat would effectively be the end of any realistic chance of the play offs. Now or never guys.

Not overly convincing but 3 pts nevertheless. Need to get more quick balls crossed into danger area. Still, always room for improvement and thought Cadman made a massive difference when he came on. For me, starting pair upfront and good to see JP scoring and playing 90 mins. If we can push on from here they maybe the most important goals he scores. Thought there keeper did well on a few of our efforts and need to defend set pieces better but happy days!

Re: Telford- the season starts here
We did our best to throw it away again. Cannot understand playing only one up front again especially at home. Not a good performance against one of the lesser sides. Hope it gets us going. Did not understand the subs. Kerry must be injured but I thought Brooksby was playing okay. Cadman did make a difference. Clee is still struggling to play especially getting the ball under control. Still don't fancy our chances on Tues night but one never knows.
Forgot to say that the music the teams come out to is garbage

Re: Telford- the season starts here
Difficult to assess today's performance. When you go so many matches without a win/luck nerves can set in and I thought that showed after we went ahead. Having said that they were the worst side I have seen here this season (even worse than Salford) and their keeper stopped it from being four or five. Hopefully, now the "monkey" is off our back and players coming back, we can now kick on.
Kerry felt a slight pull in his thigh and came off as a precaution.
Didn't feel it was right to have a minutes applause for the tragic plane crash. Usually applause is to celebrate a life. But was advised after the game that it was the accepted thing in South America, and noticed they did the same at Elland Road this evening.

Re: Telford- the season starts here
I'm just glad we scraped 3 pts. Thought we had the lions share of possession in the 2nd 3rd of the pitch without causing them a lot of trouble. 2 be half we moved the ball quicker and Cadman was tireless in chasing down and moving the ball quickly. Still say we need to get balls out to the wings quickly and get behind to get crosses into the danger area.

Dire first half, but Cadman (welcome back!) made the difference. Two good goals, thank god for JP. Missed their goal, don' t care! Yes, maybe kick on from here, I'd love to be playing
