AFC FYLDE (A) TICKET INFORMATION Empty AFC FYLDE (A) TICKET INFORMATION

    Post by C_coughlin95 Thu Oct 20, 2016 8:21 am

With the opening of AFC Fylde’s new stadium this season, the club have launched a revolutionary way for traveling supporters to purchase tickets in advance.

Courtesy of their new state-of-the-art ticketing system, away supporters will now be able to buy tickets online in what is a footballing first.

No more waiting around in adverse weather conditions or queuing at a ticket office, away fans will now be able to purchase their tickets online, print off at home and go straight to the turnstile on the day!

Fylde are keen to make it as easy as possible for away supporters to follow their team on the road and are currently the only club in the country offering this service.

To purchase tickets for AFC Fylde vs Harrogate Town on Saturday 22nd October, visit the AFC Fylde website, click on the tickets tab and follow the simple process. You will see there is also the option to receive your tickets by post, however these must be purchased before 12noon on the Thursday before the game to guarantee delivery.

Please note that free onsite parking at the stadium is limited. Once the free parking is full, there is an additional overflow carpark, which is charged at £5 per car. Alternatively, there is parking on surrounding streets, approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the ground.

For those supporters wanting to watch the match in style, for just £65.00 you can enjoy your day in the President’s Club, a five star facility, which includes a four-course meal, parking, match programme and padded seats in the stand.

Or why not really push the boat out with the prestigious 2022 matchday package in Milano’s Mediterranean restaurant for £80.00 where you can choose from a full à la carte menu. It also includes reserved parking, match programme and great padded seats behind the dugout – the perfect gift or treat for any away supporter.

Whatever you choose, don’t miss the opportunity to have a drink in Bradleys Sports Bar beforehand, recently voted the best sports bar in the UK, where food and drinks are very competitively priced.

With ample parking at the ground and just a 10 minute walk from Kirkham train station, supporting your team away from home has never been easier.

For hospitality or any other enquiries please call the club shop on 01772 682593.

I assume supporters can still buy tickets on the day at the ground in the office before entering the ground.

Tickets can be purchased on the day albeit, i've read reports of long queues for tickets.

Would suggest that you get your ticket straight away upon arrival to the ground.

I strongly recommend that you order your ticket online. You can use your phone to scan your ticket at the turnstile if you don't have a printer. You could also order your ticket online to pick up on Saturday. Collection queues aren't as long as ticket sale queues.
You can get your ticket on the day at the ticket office but if that's what you want to do, get there as early as possible to avoid the queues. Last Saturday, there was still long queues at 2:50pm.

The ticketing system went down last Saturday. Nobody anticipated the crowds we're getting.
This season, we're going through teething problems with numerous things, as you would with new ground.

So can’t supporters just pay on the gate?

The turnstiles are cashless. They have barcode readers, which scan your tickets to give you access.

Ok cheers for the response but what an ott approach.

You could try something revolutionary and have turnstiles that allow you to pay in without the need for a ticket; presumably to an away end with about 100 people in it. An approach that seemingly worked for over a hundred years.
The joke of non league clubs trying to be mini EPL clubs; like turning up at a party too late.

I think the idea is for the club to rely less on volunteers to keep things ticking. Allegedly, there are numerous teams in the Conference that use this system.
Alot do agree with you though, about installing cash turnstiles.

Looking at the current ticket sales, the gate won't be far off 2,000 on Saturday. It might even pass it.
I do strongly advise you to order your tickets and either use your phone to scan your barcode, or pick up your purchased ticket from the collection office (not ticket office.)

akin to Self service at shops, puts the onus back on the consumer. Which is after all what these systems turn people into when implemented at football clubs at a lower level. No volunteers and a dirty long queue.

Cheers for the advice and enjoy the game.
