I was a pretty vocal critic of the programme last seasn, so I guess its only right that I should be the first (on here) to praise last nights new programme. I couldn't really fault it: I love the cover (mixture of colour and b/w), clean, crisp design, excellent use of photographs and a decent amount of reading matter to boot. Love the new fan sections. Lets hope our Ladies team, under 21's etc continue to get decent coverage as the season moves on: their results, league tables etc. Anyway, very impressive stuff. Keep it up guys and not too many adverts please!

Yes looked great and a big, big improvement - only issue - no fixture list? Good time to get people thinking about coming back for league games but nothing apart from a blank league page. Fixtures in the bogs would be good as well.

Good point carefree, hadn't thought of that. So only 9 out of 10!

I must admit, I bought a copy the other night and was very impressed. It looked very good and smart. The only problem as mentioned above, no fixture list. I'd like to think that this would be resolved, and quickly.

Re: Top marks for the programme
Another decent programme again last night. It certainly looks smart and there is a decent amount to read. However, one thing still lacking (as carefree pointed out) is a fixtures/result page (or double page spread), with the fixtures, results, attendance, line ups etc. The staple of any programme from the Premier to the North East Counties league. Hope to see this corrected on Saturday.

I've not seen the new programme yet as always have bloomin kids crawling all over me and get into ground rushing but does it have a tactics page where 1 of the back room staff talks through pros and cons of different systems and how to negate them? as this maybe an interesting article topic.

Re: Top marks for the programme
I'll be coming down for my first Town match on Saturday 27th Aug and was wondering how much do the programmes cost? Also, to wander slightly off topic, what are the prices like in the bar? Cheers in advance.

Programme £2.50
Bar prices - Around £3 - £3.30 a pint.
