Long story which I won't bore you with but can assure that gates at both ends will be open tomorrow

Crooky stopped us having a proper drubbing - perhaps the only redeeming factor tonight.
Three elements for me tonight.
Swain is not a left back or a footballer at this level. Railway possibly but has been obvious for much of the season that he is not agile enough and lacks basic technical abilities to start in a team at this level.
Forwards.....To be fair, Clayton did well as a target tonight but no shots to note let alone goals but why the hell was he taken off and replaced by Knowles.......who is utter garbage. It was mental by Simon. Knowles has done naff all most of the season so why bring him on? Suppose the impact of the total let down that to the club that Hearn was. I hope to never see Knowles play in a town shirt again. Shave ya beard son and knuckle down, in the Evo Stick.
Did we actually have any shots on target of meaning after the first 4 minutes? So a problem that has utterly been failed to be rectified all season that has predictably done for us. They took us apart for most of the match and to contemplate an away victory on that load of shite is a leap of imagination and faith too far.
lastly, Daniels - if he is going football league next season he needs to play a damn sight better than that. Let us all down big time. Swains lack of support wont have helped but he was absent on the pitch tonight.
Most of them were a let down to the great turn out by the town tonight from the guile and attacking non-threat on the pitch to the questionable in-game tactics (their left back was there for the taking but didn't pose a threat out wide after the first 10mins - was fecking obvious, did Simon not see it??) and as for the subs, maybe was a result of the lack of talent and options up front but to summarise, found out tonight. We have finished where we should given the playing budget and come up short when it mattered most, especially in front of so many floating fans who ventured down tonight.

Can't disagree with any of this.........another wasted opportunity to impress a huge crowd!

He looked very lively today when he came on. Why Weaver put Emmett upfront I'll never know! He's a winger!!!
