Let's see if we can get a big crowd down for this one! 3 pts here and we are well on the way!

It's night game so we will probably get about 450. People in this Town don't seem able to get out at night.

Ummm, might ask the old folk who live opposite the ground if they want a night out. Tell them it's bingo and surprise them with football. They'll be over in their droves!

Agreed, midweek attendances always tale off yet I enjoy the night games more than Saturdays.
We don't seem to attract the " t shirt in January/pavement pizza " night out brigade either so every cloud has a silver lining.

Going to stay for the full 95 minutes on Tuesday, get the late train home (unless we are 5 up after 70 minutes of course). Get 3 points there, and the play offs will be in sight. Someone other than Brendon needs to get the ball in the net though. We should really have had at least 4 today. Thank God Simon didn't sub Brendon! Thought Gazza put a good shift in, brave selection. Jordan is great, but needs more composure in front of goal.

Paul. We win and I'll personally chauffeur you home. Lose and the deals a bit more flaky as I find it hard to drive whilst crying!

Couple more wins and some slip ups for those around us and successful outcome to the season with a playoff place secured. What happens from there is difficult to predict but if we go up staying up is going to be one hell of an achievement! Does anyone know the financial difference between the 2 leagues?

....and my BIG IDEA is that if we keep Platt on the bench we may get a win.

Not going to happen. He will be playing a big role with Burrell suspended.

Nope, so hope he runs himself into the ground as he will be missing until last game of season which leaves very little time to get him match fit for playoffs. Does the game at Valley Parade count?

I would imagine so as the Silsden game counted towards his previous suspension.

A win tonight will almost guaranty play off football, Tamworth would need to win there remaining 4 fixtures and we would have to have a slump of biblical proportions... anyway just saying....

TheNeil is going, what can possibly go wrong. Steady the nerves, composure and play like we did 1st half against Stalybridge and the goals will come. Need to make sure we don't get caught on the break by pressing to hard and over trying. Plenty of crosses into the box with shots from distance getting followed up and we should get something. Groundsmen have down a Stirling job with the pitch, should suit us down to the ground!

Almost there guys! Have got the dreaded manflu (no fun I can tell you), so could not go, but what a result. Someone tell me all about it please. It would take a.minor miracle to keep us out of the play offs now. Do the math on the teams below us. I think 3 more points should wrap it up.

Four points needed!!! but thats only if Tamworth win all four games, Town also have a far superior goal difference. So three points for the play offs, but in all fairness Tamworth will not win four out of four, so well done Town you can start preparing for the play offs.
And what a way to get our form back, if only we could get Hearn banging in some goals a la Daniels....

Thought we owned possession in the first half and got in some good positions with a lot of pressure and no end result. Thought Lowestoft had some gilt edge chances, free harder and then through on goal from a mistake but Brendan's wonder goal really put our tails up. 2nd in and we really harried and chased them out of the ground. The 2 defenders for Lowestoft are still untwisting themselves from Jack's mazey run. Good all round performance and especially liked the ball getting played out wide, stretching the opposition. Great time to post a score like that, get a run going!

Poor 1st half performance playing the long high ball but 2nd half after the cracking goal by Brendon and subs Clayton and Emmett was a superb effort . Jacks contribution was enormous and he should have been MOM . Strange how we started to play along the ground when these 2 came on .

What a second half – how we can play to a tee. All of them were great. Kerry was phenomenal for us – in the first half, which seemed to miss most, he pinged two diags in quick succession – such good distribution and tenacity. Along with Kerry the other key was having our wing wonders back doing what they do best. Jack, Joe and Brendon are the key to overcoming our lack of goals from elsewhere.
With the tough next four games could be a great way for us to cement our form by playing some of the toughest teams in the division and get us match sharp and ready to #goagain in the playoffs. A rested and hungry Burrell and, hopefully, Hearn back and a few games under his belt could add the extra #goagain drive when we hit those matches.
If anyone has a video of yet another of Brendon’s specials – we seemed to have someone in the ‘hut’ recording something – would be lovely if the club could just release the goal for us to relive or even see for the first time! Please HTFC there must be a recording of it somewhere!
