Re: Fylde won tonight
Would be good to get something tonight but Saturday's game is the big one. If we win that we will be six points above Boston and a better goal difference. They would only have two games left and could not overtake us. Even a draw would not be a catastrophe as we still have Corby at home. Remember Boston and Nuneaton have still to meet.
No panic from me.

Re: Fylde won tonight
I agree with this. I hate to say: its a game we can afford to lose, but it probably is. Nonetheless it would ease the tension on Saturday if we could get something tonight. Whilst having to beat Corby on the final Saturday would make for an exciting end to the regular season, I'm not sure my nerves could stand it!

And we also have Fylde to come also. But i'm hoping we finish as high as possible in the table. The higher we finish, the better chance we have of getting the playoff final at Wetherby Road (if we get to it, of course)

Re: Fylde won tonight
In higher leagues the pundits often say that the team coming into the play-offs on the back of a recent good run are the most likely to get promotion. If this is true and we had to rely on a win against Corby to make the playoffs ours would be on the back of a dire run !

Re: Fylde won tonight
The reason we are still fourth and still in touch with second seems to show that nobody is having a particularly good run in.
Also, if you finish second, you still have to beat fifth (Boston/Nuneaton?) to get to the Final. It really does not matter whether you finish third or fourth because either side would need fifth to beat second to host the Final.
Nice to be entering the last three weeks of the season having a chance of promotion.
Oh, and a County Cup Final as an appitizer.
Enjoy it lads. The "forgotten ones" are missing out big time.

Re: Fylde won tonight
Ferrets lose at Stalybridge - no easy games in this league. I repeat, nobody is having a particularly good run. Happy with the point today, Saturday could see us officially in the play-offs.
Congratulations to Solihull who have all but won it now.
