Weaver needs to go
As fans of our club the current "management" is clueless, tactically inept and just plain and simple not doing their job! With the players we have we should at very least be in and around the play offs. The players are low on confidence and don't know where they are on the pitch. We need weaver out as soon as possible to salvage anything from this season! As fans we need to make a noise to get this idiot out of our club. To many years of excuses and inconsistency. Enough is enough be a man accept defeat and stop ruining our club we are currently the laughing stock of non league football. Fans protest banners chants? HEY I'LL EVEN PAY HIS TAXI FARE HOME JUST GET OUT OF OUR CLUB! WEAVER OUT

Re: Weaver needs to go
Something needs to change.....that is for all to see.
My favoured option would be to get rid of McDermott for a start. Move Simon in to a Director of Football role, bring in an experienced manager at this level and move Heath to assistant manager.
Obviously the last one would only be if all parties were happy with this.

Re: Weaver needs to go
Well yeah agree with that an experienced manager with heath as assistant or in the coaching staff the way the under 19s played on Wednesday they would have beaten the first team! And heath is a respectable player and man who has played in every division from the prem to conferance north apart from conference premier he knows the leagues inside out and clearly knows how to get a team playing football!

Re: Weaver needs to go
Think that is a pretty good analysis Jordan. However, it will not happen due to irvings inability to see his son not producing the goods on the pitch.

i would rather play the under 19s on Saturday, ok we might get beaten but i bet they would give 100% more than the team we have at the moment, except for a couple of players,

Re: Weaver needs to go
Obviously part of that was sarcastic but the situation we are in maybe we should bring in the youth and academy players what have we got to loose? Young and unpredictable for the opposition?

Re: Weaver needs to go
I sent an email to tbe Harrogate Advertiser yesterday aski g why they were not asking questions re the situation at the club. How low was Weaver senior prepared to let Weaver junior drag this club down. We are becoming a joke club.
I have not receivdd a reply & dont expect to, but if we can draw the papers attention to the fans unrest tbey may start asking some questions

Don't worry Harry - they are fully aware. You can understand why they can't be too negative given their good relationship with the club.

Re: Weaver needs to go
On the one hand yes they have to tread carefully but they are neglecting their duty by not telling it how it is. At this stage what's the worst that can happen? Simon stops writing his column? The club ban the paper? At this stage, if the club did that then it would surely backfire massively and hasten the departure of the Weavers. So I don't think the club are in a strong position. Now is the right time for the Advertiser to go on the offensive.JordanF wrote:Don't worry Harry - they are fully aware. I am hearing that there might be one or two protest banners on display this weekend?

I really do hope so he needs to or must know he should have resigned by now 4 wins in 21 games with the squads we have had over those two seasons?!

An overall win % of roughly 34% in nearly 260 games?

Re: Weaver needs to go
Thats no better than random: of a possible 3 results in a match, W/L/D, we have pretty much 1/3 wins.
I wonder what the % is for loss vs draw is over the remaing balance of matches (260 -the wins) Are we better at losing or drawing?

Re: Weaver needs to go
A concerted chant of Weaver Out (or whatever), at 19 minutes past (the year our club played its first game). Unless, of course, we are already winning 3 - 0

Re: Weaver needs to go
I think the club are already trying to quieten this protest already. Bit of a coincidence that the forum has suddenly become log in only. The banner in the new stand was probably the last straw (cracking idea by the way...)

Re: Weaver needs to go
I've related to this on the 'Logging in' post. It is obvious to me thats what is happening.
Do the club think we are bloody stupid? They already have stated in the pase that we are insincere and fragile, so they may as well refer to us as being stupid as well.

Nothing stopping anyone from starting a new forum, you could call it "the insincere and fragile fans forum"
