When the team and supporters needed a lift he delivered. 2 fantastic goals, the goal last night must have had everyone ducking in the kop end. Thing that has also impressed me is that he always wants the ball, last night he hugged the touch line providing really good opportunities to attack the defence and get balls across ( with their young right back defending well 1st half). Thoroughly deserved MoM due to work rate, tracking back and tackling as well linking up the attacks.

He's our hero! I'd hate to think where we'd be this season without Daniels in the team!!

19 goals, one away from Southwell and he is a midfielder, amazing really. Can't see him playing for us next season when championship clubs are watching him.

Would be good to keep him but he needs to fulfill his potential. If it's with us next season in the National, great but if it's higher up good for him. Just hope he makes the right decision for him. Still want a montage of his goals on permanent loop on the new website though for the inevitable difficulties if we do go up.

Got to agree with all the above's thoughts. The lad as an absolute unbelievable left peg and you can see why lots of clubs have been to see the lad play. But IMO I really think he's still not the full package ...yet.
In time could be the next Jamie Vardy... But for now lets enjoy his time here.
His goals alone will stick in peoples heads forever.Most.. 30 plus yard screamers!!

Re: Brendan Daniels.
Yep. Just looked through another thread and its remarkable how much a team and a clubs fortunes are affected by on pitch results. Personally think the club is doing well now after some growing pains and that SW et al plus all the guys off the pitch have consolidated well.
There will be disappointments and differences of opinion but how they are managed is key. Still think getting into playoffs will represent significant progress and success for 15/16 season.
We need to use this season as a platform, both on and off the pitch to really start developing from a mid/lower table side into either a promoted side or a side/club built to get into playoffs season in season out. It might take another season or 2 but we as fans need to stay positive, provide constructive feedback and help the club to continue growing.
