Your the manager- line up for Worcester game?

After the disappointing result at the weekend, whats your starting line up and how would you set the team up?

Wouldn't change anything. We created enough chances to have won three games but, on the day, they didn't go in. If we had created nothing, a la Tamworth, I could have had cause for concern.

I'd have Mason in and keep defence the same then start with Emmett and Burrell in place of Platt and Gascoigne in for Hearn. Run their defence ragged and see if they pick up any cards against our trickier players then look to go more direct in 2nd half by bringing on Hearn. Looking at that, probably just as well I'm not in the dug out!

Mason has a hamstring and Gascoigne is still not fit enough to start.

I think Hearn should start. He did actually have a few shots on target, more than the rest of them! Mason back if fit, no need for massive tinkering, these str
are still good players. I'd play Swain for Daniels, I think he needs a rest. One thing is sure, three. defeats in a row cannot be allowed to happen. Our play off place still looks in good shape, but....

For me this should be the team if all players are fit and taking into account Burrell's suspension...
    1) Crook
    2) Turner
    3) Warren
    4) Kerry? Suspended??
    5) Ellis
    6) McGurk
    7) Emmett
    Cool Platt
    9) Clayton
    10) Hearn
    11) Daniels

If Kerry is suspended I would start Thirlwell as they're similar players so perfect replacement.

    -----------------------------------------
I have not let my thoughts be known from the game yet and personally I thought that as soon as Hearn/Daniels Was taken off we lacked any quality in creating chances, although Hearn missed a few chances he should have scored he played well taking in to account he's just getting back in to it! Hearn looked lively and I'm certain the goals will come for him. In the first half I also thought him a Clayton linked up well in a few moves.

When Daniels was replaced we never got a good ball into the box! Don't take Daniels off as you never know when his free-kicks are gonna hit the back of the net like we needed yesterday.

I think Platt has taken some criticism which he does not deserve, he had a solid game yesterday but is just lacking a bit of confidence.

For me Emmett just gets the nod over Colbeck as the pace that Emmett has can really scare defences and get the ball in good attacking positions. The only thing that worries me about Emmett is his end product.

If Warren is fit I would start him ahead of Swain as he looks more solid defensively. I saw Swain get caught out several times yesterday and we don't need that although he is good going forward as was evident.

I would have Knowles coming off the bench around the 70th minute mark if we're struggling to score as I thought he looked lively and up for it yesterday, he looks like a better option than Thewlis for me. Thewlis is more suited as a winger due to his pace and skill but just lacks the finishing for a striker.

Gazza just still doesn't look fit and I would like to see him play on Thursday to keep him getting the minutes in!

I would replace Platt with Thirwell and start Thewlis with Clayton. I would probably choose Colbeck over Emmett as i think playing Emmett with Thewlis leaves us a bit exposed in the strength department and Colbeck fires in a mean cross.

I would play Hearn with Knowles on Thurs and give them both 90mins

Pleased to see support for Hearn. Yes, he should have scored on Saturday but he always looked like he could score, I'd have kept him on.

I 100% agree paulstreet he looked like the only player likely to score.I'd have kept him on till later in the game and maybe have brought Knowles on.

Nice to see those goals go in! It looked easy that day, not so easy recently.

I'd treat game on Thursday as an opportunity to get 90 mins out of Foster, Hearn, Knowles etc. Smattering of u21's and let them get on with it. Got get 3pts on Saturday or we run the risk of really heaping pressure on ourselves.

Foster has not played for us yet and Hearn is on loan. There are some strange Çounty Cup rules that may mean we cannot play them.

Getting a bloody headache here! In Weaver we trust, let him get on with it and I'll just scream at the Twitter updates as can never get the radio to work in the house and I'm not sad enough to sit in the car all afternoon (yet).

Am I alone in thinking that Saturday's game could be a defining moment in our season? Lose (again) and we will, almost certainly, be dragged back into the dog fight for 5th place. Three defeats in a row is bound to affect morale as well. A win and we will consolidate our place in the top five, and with a couple of winnable games coming up (Curzon and BPA) things will look rosy again. Or maybe I just worry too much!

Worcester, Curzon and Bradford are all difficult games.

We need to get plenty of points on the board from the next 5 games because it's the 4 after that which look the most difficult (Alfreton, Nuneaton and Fylde all away and Boston at home). Wonder what will happen if it all comes down to Corby at home!

Can't bear to watch. I'm chucking in the towel and taking up crochet! I really worry about our lack of consistency and how we will respond if we are under the cosh. Still feel sick from Saturdays result!

Thank f#$k for that. Hopefully he can improve the supply lines to Hearn and Clayts! Hopefully we will have Mason back as well! A must win game, not just for the 3 pts but to settle nerves and give us a platform to mount a charge on 2 nd spot. Can't see anyone catching Solihull now.

Pfffff. 1pt earned or 2 dropped. Sounds like we had the chances (again) but surely need to be burying teams! Need to take note of how Solihull are just plugging away bagging the points!
