Looks like they may be returning to the National North next season.
Apparently they have to increase their capacity from 3000 (how can they get that many in there at the moment?) to 4000 by the end of March. At present they have not done anything and they now have a "Stop Notice" issued by the Council.
Maybe they should have looked at our blueprint of getting things in order before moving forward.

If Ferriby go up, won't they face the same problem? Nice little ground but pretty basic.

I hope they don't get demoted. In many ways their team spirit fostered by Bower last season is what Simon has created this season. They were punching above their weight last season and impressively so this season and long may it continue.
As a club they are hampered by the cricket club taking a stupid amount of their revenue, though their board should have pulled their fingers out sooner (and is in stark contrast to Irving and co.) I doubt many would wish them to fail due to an unhelpful council and a bunch of NIMBY wankers, whose houses seem to have been next to a football ground for many years.
