Thought we won the individual battles and earned the right to play. We got the ball in the right areas and opened them up in the second half with the pace we have throughout the team.

There, that's saved a long trip.

A competent display against a strong side, by the sound of it on the radio - and no late goal conceded. Well done Town.

Walshaw was superb today, as was Nyoni ... Oxford's european influences very much evident, playing everything out from the back. Crook's handling was spot on today on a difficult surface. Was a pleasure to be with the away fans who completely out sang the home contingent once more. A hard earned point against a good footballing side.

Any chance of keepong Walshaw do you think? I mean he IS quality. Anyone know if his contract is for 1 or 2 years? Please lets try and keep him!

Totally agree - please (the powers that be) do everything possible to keep Wally - what a class striker.

Town have made a contract offer to Peter Crook - hoping he will take it and really push on next year

walshaw 12mths contract, would you expect him to re-sign after be,ing relegated to the bench , and even then not used when the game was crying out for a goal scorer, even now he is only playing due to injuries in the team, simon & co shot themselves in the foot .
