Re: TODAYS MATCH
Town have now failed to win ten of their 18 home matches in Conference North this season, while Lowestoft remain with the second worst away record, and Walshaw kept on the bench by this clueless manager, now you know what to expect next season more of the same

Re: TODAYS MATCH
I know the usual apologists will say 'they had to do it, they needed the points' but I do think it's time refs penalised deliberate time wasting (especially ten minutes into the game) as demonstrated by the Trawlerboys yesterday. Their keeper should have had a red for taking the Michael.
Wish we had a centre back as tall as their No. 5.
(Well done North Ferriby, by the way).

Re: TODAYS MATCH
Has to be admitted it was another disappointing performance, better than last week to be fair, but still we should have put them away in the second half. Don't get me wrong I like both Clayton and Thewlis but I really can't see them being prolific scorers next season. And I remain completely baffled as to why Walshaw is being utterly frozen out. He should, surely have played at least the last half hour yesterday. Felt really sorry for him warming up to no purpose on Saturday. Casman looked great for a few minutes then faded. And the goal famine looks no nearer being solved.

Re: TODAYS MATCH
I think the weather really affected both teams for the first half, as the ball spent more time out of play than in play. You would think it would be obvious to quickly work out the wind as it was just blowing across the pitch, or just play it on the floor. We just couldnt seem to figure out how to use it to our strengths. We also conceded a very poor penalty, and at half time, I was concerned.
The second half, we were a lot better and we really should have put the game to bed. We had so many chances, and how Nyoni missed from 1 yard out was beyond me. Lowestoft didnt have an answer for us second half, as we dominated it.
I thought Cadman, although he drifted in and out was impressive. He always wanted the ball, he was willing to run at the opposition players. He also has a very good first touch and had good game awareness. I think he will be a very good addition and I get the impression he will be signed up in due course to play alongside Nyoni and Gascoigne next season (if they sign up)
The Walshaw situation is very frustrating. As Paulstreet says, Clayton and Thewlis are not going to be our prolific strikers. I can see them popping up with between 10-15 goals each, maybe. We have got to keep Walshaw and he has got to be a first team fixture. He is too good, and too prolific to let go.

Re: TODAYS MATCH
think the answer concerning walshaw , is weaver as dug a hole that he can,t get out off, if he plays him and he scores , weavers frightend he will look a bigger prat than he already is, somebody mentioned that walshaw was the sharpest on the pitch in training , think that speaks volumes . 100/1 he wont be here next season.

Re: TODAYS MATCH
Yeah, there is something suspicious going on with Walshaw. I would like to think that it is because the current Strikerforce are doing the business. But isnt it funny, that even though he keeps Wally on the bench, he is still currently our top scorer?
Not playing Walshaw, is a monumental fuckup by Simon. If Walshaw goes to a rival for next season, and scores a hat-trick against us, he will look even more of a prat anyway.

Re: TODAYS MATCH
It was brilliant on Saturday, well done to all that sang for 90 minutes. Shame about the shite on the pitch; but a minor detail.
