We wouldn't want to let the result get in the way of yet another negative thread would we ?

Re: TOWN TODAY
Enjoyed the game today, with 443 others. Nice to meet a few people involved with the club.
Good result, well done.
Town Lishke, you are really miserable - did you bother to go, and support the team?
I doubt it, but then, who cares about your vindictive and personal diatribe?
Not many!

Indeed, simon is an extremely talented manager, we're very fortunate to have him at town and I just hope he never leaves. I anticipate automatic promotion next season. If only everyone was as positive as me. Praise the lord!

Re: TOWN TODAY
Come on TS, we both know that your problem is that you could never accept any success if there is someone called Weaver involved!
Good result today, thanks to all for an entertaining game.
The pulled pork sandwich was good as well!
I bought it myself, TS, so no corporate hospitality was involved.

Agreed posh boy - town lishke has nothing to complain about - it really is a wonderful setup, the Yorkshire tea is always first class, a lovely family club, some paticularly positive role models to introduce my two young sons to at some point. Dismiss the manager? No chance, I far prefer our dysfunctional, I'm alright jack setup.
Goodnight
Ps I've had a few drops of vino and reserve the right to review my comments in due course ...

Another 3 points. Very pleased. Could be a strong year if this squad stays together.

Re: TOWN TODAY
By half time I was a bit bored given what I had seen, two poor teams playing poor football. No wonder Gloucester had 7 put passed them last week. The second half though was completely different with town coming out with a bit more about them. Two very good goals saw us 2 up and we were comfortable, however we seemed to sit back a bit and Gloucester upped their game. If it wasnt for the crossbar and crook making 2/3 very fine saves,it could have been different.
A reasonable performance although I did have my doubts at the team lineup, but they pulled through in the end. We got the 3 points, which was important, especially with the "banana" skin game next week, fingers crossed.
I appreciate why the corporate lot gave MOM to thewlis but for me it was crook, his second half performance did it for me.
Well done the kop of fear today, very vocal

Re: TOWN TODAY
I didn't boo, wouldn't even dignify the chump with a response but I find it interesting nobody has anything to say about this. It's ok to boo our player ON to the pitch because we don't like him but if someone voices an opinion against the manager they are not "real supporters" and have an agenda? The hypocrisy on here is staggering.ultimate warrior wrote:laughed when the kop boo'd when Speigh came on just shows how popular he is

Re: TOWN TODAY
3 more points safely bagged by our brilliant youngsters (not to mentiom Paul Clayton and Matt Bloomer!). To be fair the first half was pretty dire (both teams), I mentioned to someone at half time that we should sub Thewlis for Walshaw...oops. So what do I know? He did take his goals excellently and Swain is a real handful when he gets motoring. Got to love this current HTFC team, you really have. Just our luck that Hyde have started to get results, but, even so, we should still keep the run going next week, and then two more home games to look forward to. Happy days are here again, and I intend to enjoy them, regardless of what some others may say.

Re: TOWN TODAY
Hugely encouraged by the recent results - it was this time last year that the wheels came off - but few signs at present .... as Paul says, enjoy the run!
