Dayle Southwell couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo when he played for us today he got a hat trick and has 20 goals this season, well thats what happens when you play under a decent manager

"Normal service has been resumed"
We've lost a game to a side who have scored 5 goals in 5 of their last 6 home games, one of which was Guiseley.
Welcome back U/W.

There's some people you just can't reach ... but anyway,
Town fan - you ask enough questions - I have two for you (say what you see, and if you see it say it)
A) where are we currently in the league table?
B) what is the highest position we've achieved so far this season.
Ta ta petal

Re: Boston game
did,nt just loose a game, we got hammered by a team with one player over 5.10inches , i sat wih boston supporters ,and after 5mins said this could be embarrasing, bloody hell i was right. 1st three goals ripped the defence to pieces, the other two were juggling acts by our keeper, u/w the bubble as burst

Town Fan is just another Weaver lackey mate. Only Brackley have scored less goals than us this season, even HYDE have scored more than us for f**k's sake!!!town supporter wrote:There's some people you just can't reach ... but anyway,

And by the way, if we finish behind BPA, Weaver should be sacked immediately. No ifs and no buts.

Re: Boston game
Yesterday was very hard to take. Especially as we were 2-0 up and seemed to be cruising. Thought the defense looked tired with their first and second goals coming from the counter. Too many players had off days. Our winning run was bound to come to an end and hopefully our young lads can pick themselves up and put in a big performance on Tuesday at Gainsborough.

Re: Boston game
Boston woke up after we scored our second and they were clinical....We are not the only ones to let in 5 on their ground this season are we, credit to them for putting us under a lot of pressure when we had the ball, most teams would sink.
I just hope Simon doesn't start tinkering after one bad result, I don't think Adam is the right player to partner Nyoni though, too defensive for me.
Oh and the comment about been destroyed by a small player, now that is rubbish....Messi, Silva both huge players aren't they?

Re: Boston game
Did anyone notice we finally managed a goal following one of Franks long throws, its only taken about one hundred efforts to achieve this. No doubt we shall be continuing this untill the management finally realise it does not really work.

Re: Boston game
Debits
Their winger had Swain all at sea. I'd be inclined to persevere with the lad though (no knee jerk reactions ), and he's a bit of a secret weapon going forward as he showed with the first goal.
Why a still overweight and sluggish Franks continues to be chosen over Killock, Simon has still not explained. The large Boston pitch made this issue worse.
Simon said that Boston played the conditions better, which I take to mean that they used more direct tactics. Our main aerial threat, Clayton, was withdrawn after a hour. Go figure.
Make no mistake, by the end this was a right tonking...

...but it was nothing like the hopeless performances at Chorley, Guiseley (I could go on). In the early part of the match we swarmed all over Boston in exciting fashion. It was worth the trip for the first 15 minutes alone.
Fallowfield had another good game - let's hope we can keep hold of him for as long as possible.
The bond between the players and the fans continues to grow. With such a young team the consistent support of the fans will be important to their confidence.
I had to wait 10 minutes, but the chips were fantastic and £1.25 for a large portion - Town take note!

Clayton was withdrawn as he had a recurrence of a groin strain - if he had stayed on and aggravated it he would have been out for some weeks whereas bringing him off early yesterday means he has a chance of making Tuesdays game

Happy? It seems to me that most people are down right furious and have long since had enough. Why are some of you so happy to go along with this joke of a manager and repeatedly have the piss taken out of our football club in this way? You're selling us out.Chips97 wrote:Why are some of you only happy when we lose?

So we lose a match, and all the usual suspects appear!
The real Town Supporters will continue to cheer on the team, and try to be the 12th man.
Oh, and I hope that both Mr Weavers and the staff at the Club continue with the work to build for the future.
Guess that puts me on the wrong side of the tracks!
C'mon Town!

Anyone know what the position is with the loan arrangements are for both Fallowfield and Clayton? It will be a major blow if both of them leave suddenly.

Re: Boston game
Good to see you guys enjoying yourselves in bar pre-match .
I think we have become to expect the unexpected in our meetings now .
Your number 8 played a few games for us a few years ago , but appeared to think our class of football was not good enough for him . Judging on yesterdays performance he would not make our bench now , the number of fouls he conceded indicated his lack of ability .
Surprised at the comments on yours being a young side , what was the average age ?
The average age of our sqaud used on Saturday was 21 .
Kane Felix the number 7 who tore your defence to shreds is 19 . The goalie only 18 .
Southwell who hit a hatrick has just turned 21 .

And all the other usual suspects disappear. It's a two way street on here it seems to me. We win, one group goes into hiding, we lose, the other group goes quiet. C'est la vie.pie and chips wrote:So we lose a match, and all the usual suspects appear!
Why always this? It's a poor retort and not true. Some of the anti-weaver folks clearly care very passionately about the club and don't like seeing it sold out like this. Some of these so called "real supporters" you talk about are obviously cheap and very easily bought. What a sell out we've become.pie and chips wrote:
